"Arbeit weggeben, arbeit wegnehmen" (Give work away, take work away) 2002 Galerie sox36, Berlin Spanish farmers leave the work on their plantations to doctors and nurses from Romania, because they accept lower payment than season workers from Morocco do. I am a free lance academic and take away the work to employed electricians, because I accept to pay my health and social security all on my own. Do European students take away the work from Mexican immigrants in Arizona, because "Marlboro Summer Job 2002" pays their flight and their lodgement? This text sticks on the window. In the space behind, Stephan Kurr exhibits two light boxes, showing him working.
